I think the devs are working on making it installable as a PWA. That will make the site look and feel like a mobile app

Press the install to home screen button. And when the mods accept my freaking patch to fix the PWA icon, it'll actually be good.
That's probably the best choice. Hermit also let's you reduce the font size which is by default on the loorge side for me at least.
