Look, you really should be jarring your urine, not just letting it fester in an open can (that you probably didn't even wash out before you pissed in it!). That's not sanitary.

Could probably squat and pee directly into the funnel. I also knew a woman who had this vaguely spoon-shaped thing that she would stick into her pants in order to pee standing up (this being faster than the alternative since we were in the desert with no johns around).
Yeah one of those. I don't have that equipment so I can't say from experience but they seem to be great for hiking.
