        I think she's genuine in her political beliefs as a social democrat whose willing to fight establishment folks for social democracy.

        But her career was absolutely a grift. She was Oprah's new age healer.

        She doesn't seem dumb. I mean, she conned vast wealth out of LA, and has reasonably congent political awareness.

        That said, she uses twitter, which does argue against the existence of intelligent life in the universe.
