It's so funny that every time leftists claim the US military killed civilians the globe emojis all come out to defend it and jerk off how cool their shiny weapons are. Then 2 weeks later when the US military admits it, the neolibs are nowhere to be found

Holy shit, man. 10 civilians killed by a drone strike, by mistake. The absolute disregard for human life is insane.

Imagine how shocking it would be if something comparable happened in a western country. if 10 white civilians died as a result of a "mistake" can you imagine the outrage that would happen.

It wasn't a mistake. US troops wanted to murder as many civilians as they could one last time before getting out. They also shot up a ton of civilians after the blast and blamed their deaths on the bomb. Fuck the troops.

They end up doing this because they know nobody in media or the government will push back any further. There however should be massive pushback against the idea this was a mistake. The military did not know who they were targeting, they did not confirm what these people were doing, they chose to fire on them anyway and then fabricated a story based on evidence we know did not exist. Remember they claimed to kill a specific member of ISIS-K who they never named and now we know there was no evidence any ISIS-K members were even there. It's not an accident if you close your eyes and shoot into a crowd of people, carelessness does not remove intent.

Oh cool, so he's gonna be tried and convicted of violating international law, right? Because the US, being such a RIGHTEOUS nation, would never fail to prosecute wrongdoing

And they'll definitely pay significant reparations to the families affected

      Also:

Previously, US Central Command pointed to “significant secondary explosions” as evidence of a “substantial amount of explosive material” in the vehicle. On Friday, the US military source said that after reviewing footage from infra-red sensors, they would no longer characterize this as an explosion – instead, it was more of a flare up.

Yeah, I'd imagine a gasoline powered vehicle would, you know, "flare up" when hit with a missile

If you're a doctor and you accidentally operate on the wrong person, you can lose your job or face charges.

You fuck up a military ordered execution on the wrong people, you get to say you're sorry and carry on. Then after leaving the military, you can be a lobbyist, a news analyst, a politician, or all of the above.

How they try to mimic political radical posting style is fucking hilarious, I can imagine some think thank intern attending seminar on what "cringe" means.

It really makes you wonder to what extent the Democrats are paid-to-lose, controlled opposition. They just capitulate so easily on everything, it's like a character in political theater setting themselves up to be ridiculed.

McKenzie added that he is “fully responsible for this strike and this tragic outcome.”

So I'm sure he'll be prosecuted for war crimes right

No, no, it's different when a Democrat is on office. If we constantly agitate for the next three months, Biden might just hand out a few golden parachutes.

I'd put money on this being a small admission (forced by corroborating evidence) to distract from the fact that it's extremely likely they also opened fire indiscriminately on desperate people as soon as that 'Isis-K' suicide bomb went off.
