A part of my political journey was to realize both Marxist Leninists and anarchists make excellent and valid points; but also had flaws in their ideologies. Dismissing an entire pan of left-wing politics because they're "authoritarian" is a mistake. I mean, you do you comrade, but sectarianism for the sake of ideological purity isn't really how anytihing will change.

It is a real interesting dilemma tho. On one hand if you go too loose on things, you will get many different groups, and no clear leadership, so a lot of infighting. On the other- having a strong leader leads to authoritarianism pretty easy. And there doesnt seem to be an easy solution....

absolutely; have enjoyed the company of tankies before. in every sense.

can't imagine enjoying time spent with a lib. even more; can't imagine fucking one, the thought is gross.

and when shit goes down, if I can't find any other anarchists in town, im looking for the communists. and if I can't find them, im maybe looking for the socialists. and when I don't find them either; im grabbing some camo and trying to be very very still until shit blows over or a cop comes close enough without seeing me to grab. (more realistically; fucking dying)

Ya don't worry, it's healthy to show skepticism on topics such as this one. People tend to say "tankies" as a casual replacement for "marxist-leninists", but yes, some of them are here just for the aesthetics sadly; and can get annoying sometimes.

            No.

We never say “fuck the people”. That’s absolutely red fash shit. Cut that out.

Revolutionary violence is fine. Hating people, calling them irredeemable, and wishing for purges is not.

You were right about the “tankies”, but neither “tankies” nor “anarkiddies” actually understand modern Marxism-Leninism.

Seek out the Maoists instead. We’re real Communists in real life and know how to do things.

The majority of the Maoists I know aren’t young white people raised on the imperial core internet. Of course some are. More will be soon...

They’re Indian. And Chinese. Black. And Latin American. Immigrants. Educated and advanced sections of the working class. Colonized. Decolonized. Career revolutionaries. Of the masses for the masses. They don’t post about Bernie Sanders.

I know Naxalites. Adults who have actually fought in real revolutions. People who are wonderful and forgiving and great teachers live for more than being a hateful internet avatar.

Real communists are nothing like internet tankies.

The masses will do that by themselves and pick appropriate punishments

im being hyperbolic, but my experience of americans genuinely is that a lot of them can't genuinely be part of anything but a D/s relationship-in their pants in their halls of power, and in everything between, and that if you want anything else, they will fight you tooth and nail all the way to the grave.
