I think in many ways China is like the new Nazi Germany, Woke America is like the new Soviet Russia, and the decentralized center is going to be the new America.

So even in their utterly rediculous and non materialist analysis and dumb works they recognize that under Xi China has taken turns to the left economicaly? :soviet-hmm:

lol there are people who say China is just like Nazi Germany based on the whole "National Socialists claiming to be socialists but aren't really, so therefore China is the same because they claim to be communist but aren't really"

I agree with the first part, Post-Mao China was moving towards Capitalism, and Xi has been reigning it back. A lot of people view the Deng to Xi period as a perfect continuity but there was a lot of contingency in there. As to what the Future holds I haven't read nearly enough about modern China to say.

i think its mostly the jiang zemin era that totally dropped tha ball. getting capitalists into the party and all that. fuck him. jintao is like a total non-person. nice guy but. also ive heard somebody claim that zemin was ruling behind jintaos face the whole time. so i dont think deng era is that critiqueworthy, its just that they spiralled the wrong direction after him and is being corrected now

hu jintao was alright, china's image in the imperial core was best under his tenure. most of the corruption that xi had to clean up originates from jiang zemin and if u were looking at china at the time I think it absolutely would have been fair to say they had fallen to capitalist roaders.
