I watched that movie with my Dad who's a Trump supporter and after the sequence at the end where the son imagines getting rich and buying the house my dad yelled out "Why wasn't that your plan from the beginning?" people didn't get the hunger games. it was as unsubtle as possible, and they still sold a capital line of jewelry and people dressed up as effie trinket and caesar flavian or whatever on the news and did not at all introspect they were doing exactly what the evil people were doing.
