Because the ruling class will still need to distract libs and chuds from material conditions. In fact it will probably be even more important in two unsustainable nations.

      The dems and Republicans aren’t separate parties as much as they are conjoined twins.

      As has been said before, "the United States is also a one-party state but, with typical American extravagance, they have two of them."

      I guess you are right and it is ridiculous to hope that there are points of discontent where you can fracture the parties. It's impossible to find such a point because they aren't even two different parties, but one big party united against the people. But how do you convince the American people that Marjorie Taylor Greene and Nancy Pelosi are both batting for the same party?
