I think my number one motivation for not being murdered is to not have podcasters talk about me. :kombucha-disgust:

In the episode I tried to listen to, he started losing his voice within the first few minutes from laughing. I felt my nose bleeding and it was soy sauce.

Yeah I hate these. I've posted this before, but I was studying criminology/criminal psychology in college. I have seen a shit load of pictures of bodies. We had to study them. You can find out a lot about the killer by studying what they did with the body. A whole lot of Jane Doe's (meaning no positive ID). A lot of prostitutes. A lot of women of color. You can become desensitized to the images and the violence and the chilling reality of murder but you can never become desensitized to the volume. There's just so many.

So while these people are chortling over a few famous murder cases, there's this massive backlog of other murders nobody gives a shit about except the people who are there to take photos and then move the corpse for proper burial. Maybe some interest might get renewed when they can start to link a body to another body and start to take up the pattern of serial killing. But that's about it. We all know the statistics about the backlog of untested r*** kits. Just go ahead and take that number and start to think about the unsolved cases of murdered women and the true scale of the horror will start to take shape. But again, that's just the bodies we've found so far.

Once you start to think about the number of "missing" women I suggest you back out, because the door is creaking shut behind you, and you're in for a very cold awakening.

Kinda ironic to make a tasteless meme to call out bad taste, no?

I don’t think this is tasteless. The pic is an obvious stock photo. :shrug-outta-hecks:

God I hope capitalism hasn't gotten so bad that people can own the photo rights to dead people.

Otherwise, I think I found modeling that I can do.

What I don't get is all these docs are killers who are caught and broadly figured out. Like why Dahmer again? Jack the Ripper I fucking get, or the New Orleans Axeman.

Since I have no idea what's going on here, I'm going to assume someone is dunking on Patton and his dead wife who wrote a true crime book. I'd rather not be here for that one. Or it's about that woman who was murdered by her road trip Florida bf who dipped
