    Initially, I was able to compartmentalize my MCU watching experience. I treated it a lot how I treated the comic fans who'd try to emulate witty banter from Deadpool or whatever.

    But it's just not going away and the movies are actively encouraging that obnoxious behavior by being 99% one-liners. Someone's going to use that quote at work one day and I'm going to lose it.
