I didn't get as much sleep as I should've last night and have been feeling stressed today, and I think what broke the camel's back was that I laid down wrong/awkwardly and pulled a muscle at the back of my right armpit so I got up and went to my kitchen to walk around/stretch to try and sort that out.

Suddenly when I got there, I felt dizzy/nauseous/had fuzzy vision and tried to walk over and sit down in a chair, then I believe I fainted for a few seconds and fell forward and hit my right ear on something.

I think that sudden pain may have given me the jolt to start calming down after that, so I pulled myself into a chair and waited the decline out.

I'm fine now, just have a sore ear that bled a bit. (Not from inside the ear/ear drum or anything like that, I broke the skin on the exterior of my ear.) But yeah, that was pretty lame.

I don't want to discount trauma, but this does not sound like the panic attacks I have had. I am no expert and I am not attempting to speak with authority, only from experience. The fact that you were able to calm voluntarily is what makes me skeptical. I have never been able to do that. Maybe you did just have a panic attack, or maybe you had some other sort of episode. I sounds like it sucks, whatever it was, so please see a medical doctor about it if you can. Self-diagnosing anything like this is going to suck, always, I can say that much for certain.

I legit do not know about medical conditions I have not had. I mean I kinda do, and your guess sounds reasonable, but online I am not willing to do more than offer emotional support. You need to see a doctor. I say that while I have not seen one myself in over fifteen years, during a very complicated time to make an appointment with one.

for sure, your answer is a lot more responsible than mine. ive never had low blood pressure but i know it's quite common in skinny ladies cos i had a couple of mates who would faint from it.

if you're fainting til you hit your head you definitely need to get to a doctor. hope you're ok and that it's nothing serious.

It’s a scary thing to have happen. I’m sorry. Rest up as much as you can - you’re probably gonna feel emotionally and physically drained for a little while.
