    If you’re still a brony in 2021 you’re either trans or a nazi. There’s no in-between.

It's like how every edgy atheist in 2005 went on to be either a radical communist or a skull measurer.

A special interest in military history (of armies getting owned).

Justifying this with "I'm a historian" is some galaxy brain shit. Being a historian (which he definitely isn't) does not require you to be impartial. It also doesn't make a nazi character based on a children's show any less weird.

      Look at this. https://www.equestriadaily.com/

There are still multiple posts here every day. The show aired it's last episode in 2019.

If anything, it's weird how quickly the MLP community is dying off. People talk about Star Trek that aired over 20 years ago

The Trek community is actually two communities, the ones who like Abramstrek and the ones who are animated by pure rage.

Bronies hands down are the worst niche groups I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with IRL

My friend started a college club like ten years ago. He tried to commiserate with me about being LGBT adjacent and I had to hit the brakes on that. Being a straight guy who likes cartoons doesn't get you beaten in the streets.

I'll do you one better: I knew, much to my surprise, a famous MLP fanfic writer who straight up wrote pony porn on commission to put himself through college. And because he knew I was a decent writer and a good editor he tried to recruit me into helping him with his work.

The moment he started describing the kind of material he was writing, in very graphic detail because he's extremely passionate about the subject to put it mildly, I learned there was 1, an extremely indepth and deep lore behind the mlp franchise much to my surprise, and 2 there was an equal amount of pornography on the myriad subjects of lore that ranged from the dweebish romcom soap opera to the (and I don't mean to kinkshame here) outlandish stuff like "c.i.a enhanced interrogation" and word that rhymes with "sniff".

I politely declined his offer after buying him lunch, then unfortunately lost track of him.

My friend recommended me Fallout: Equestria and happened to give me a chapter that opened with a very graphic scene.

Thank you. I actually wanted to give it a chance and my friend did me a favor by showing me exactly what he liked about the subculture. Which is funny because the cartoon itself wasn't bad.

A friend recommended me Fallout: Equestria and I couldn't get through more than a few chapters because it was like reading a transcript of someone playing a video game

Basically it was the Doom novel without the unintentional comedy

Very apt description. It also had wlw content, but intended for a male audience. I just couldn't.

Women loving women. I think that's the correct term. w/w maybe? The writing was just lesbian content with the same depth as straight porn.

Maybe the people still holding onto now are, but at its height it was like the furry fandom in that it was 99% fine and people really overblew the remaining 1%.

Please make your way into this mineshaft. If you aren't a Nazi then you shouldn't have any issues since I only push Nazis into the pit.
