Boeing with another banger
No, it's ok, they've lobbied congress to say this is nice and legal to fly, so there's no problem anymore!
How on Earth did everyone survive. This may be a delayed Christmas miracle.
Edit: Looks like they 'only' hit 4.8km before blow out. They are really, really lucky that Boeing engineering is so shitty that stuff already fails at such low altitudes
Besides the person directly adjacent falling out of the plane, I don't see why there would be a high risk of dying from this incident.
In which incident did passengers freeze to death? I haven't heard of that.
I guess they're especially lucky they weren't over the ocean or something in this incident since they could land immediately.
Innovation in how to provide the least possible service for the most possible money
Wasn't even the emergency exit, just a whole window/side panel lol
I haven't flown much, but I've stayed fucking far away from that Boeing shit after the first crash. I just want HSR
Just saw this article on HN yesterday too lmao

Isn’t this the plane that required airlines to buy DLC to unlock safety features resulting in hundreds of deaths?
lol remember when congress exempted Boeing from the new safety regulations designed to fix the MAX because it would cut into shareholder profits?

Emergency exits are at the front and rear of the plane, and everywhere in between
I think the problem here is European pilots. They lack the inherent spatial know-how to understand what should and shouldn't be done. Following instructions isn't really their strong suit, as a race
He was referring to the racist comments Boeing made when a 737 Max crashed in Africa or Asia.
