I don’t think he’ll drop out but he’ll probably be significantly less present on the campaign trail this year. I think he’ll probably win. Despite the impact that his support for the atrocities being committed in Gaza has had on his approval rating amongst democrats, I predict they’ll probably still vote for him come November. Things feel a bit more normal now to middle class suburban whites and the stock market is doing well. More than that, I really don’t think the energy is there for Trump anymore. Plus, a lot of Trump’s supporters have died since 2016, and a lot of younger voters who tend to go for Democratic candidates have come of age in the last 8 years.
We’ll see - as we all know attempting to predict elections is a fools errand, and a lot can happen between now and November. But I just don’t see the excitement for Trump anymore the way there was 8 years ago.
What is this guys prediction even based on? Just sheer guessing? Are we supposed to take his random guesses more seriously than any other person’s because of his job title?
