The username has been connected to the person already. What would be gained by not giving some details and just putting out some alarmist post like this? There's over two centuries of precedent -- free speech does NOT extend to anything the government decides is "treasonous" or "seditious". A lot of those McCarthy era policies are still on the books; "un-American activity" is sought out and logged.

I’m not going to advise people one way or the other, but choosing not to censor yourself despite the risk is a valid choice, and one I choose for the present. For now the risk is almost nil, though in a year they might start coming for people based on what they said online years ago.
