The updating bug that wipes posts is getting taken care of tomorrow according to @Beatnik .
I think this is something that will slowly become a standard in the community over time. Creator-communities typically expand and change their content as they self-crit. In particular they tend to get very agitated with long-running trends that become boring. This could be one of them.
We might also get more content like OPM though as well.
Perhaps major creators may later see or learn of benefits that could benefit themselves jumping into the system. Look at all the major companies now that have patreons, which was previously an amateur-only space. I suspect that professionals will eventually take it over much like youtube or twitter or patreon and on and on. All these things start out catering to an unserved niche of content creators and then transition into primarily professionals over time.
Trump's is just doing GOP free association right now at the RNC. Audience hoots and hollers on cue. Cool, cool
This will be the first and last time I do this, I swear: Community rewatches are up and running, join if the series strikes your fancy https://hexbear.net/post/16346
No need to apologise, it's fine to do this to push it around as much as possible. I would bump people in the discord channel too.
Just keep in mind what I said, total participation is not a demonstration of any failure in these early stage in the community. It's just where we are in size to participation ratio. As we grow and continue to do things with consistency participation will grow over time. A year from now things will be a whole different picture.
I really wish I had that kind of vigor still. Being hobbled is awful.
It does take awhile to get good, but that makes it worth it all the more when you get to the decent parts.
I watched the first 3 episodes of the titan's bride with my flatmate and it sucked. The protagonist becomes gay at an extreme tempo but then it just does lightspeed yaoi tropes. 2/10
Anything with "bride" in the title has turned out to be horrible in my experience. Most recent example being Ancient Magus' Bride which is a show where an old rich guy buys a slave child and berates her as expensive, calls her a puppy, humiliates her, forces physical contact including bathing and build that into a relationship through stockholm syndrome.
I automatically assume everything with "bride" in the title is targeting the worst people out there.
I nearly hated Steins Gate 0. Nothing in that series moved me. It felt like the reanimated corpse of something once compelling.
I have a bunch but off the top of my head RahXephon. People treat it like some kind of masterpiece but it was one of the most pretentious and incomprehensible garbage I've ever seen.
Hmmm it's hard to say recently but for years and years Elfen Lied was repeatedly brought up by people and I can't stand it. I had to put up with seeing that thing brought up for decades. I'm so glad it barely ever gets mentioned now.
Any of you weebs watch Bokurano?
Good show. Pretty fucked up, but a good show. Surprisingly anticapitalist too.
A bunch of kids are tricked into killing themselves via super destructive giant robot battles. Said kids have pretty fucked up home lives. There’s a... scene between a teacher and a student around episode 5ish, if you get my drift. Just a warning.
It's one of the few pieces of media to make me cry.
Is anyone down to do a hate watch of some of anime's worst with me? We're talking Mars of Destruction, Skelter Heaven, Vampire Holmes, Madonna, the whole nine yards.
So what's a good streaming site right now? twist.moe is still having issues.
https://4anime.to/
Going forwards for the time being I'd recommend this as an alternative whenever you find twist down. I'm sure they'll fix issues eventually. It also has similar standards and quality. I'm tempted to say some of the same people might be involved, you'll see what I mean.

I definitely see what you mean, lol.
I wanted to check out one of the shows in your OP (Hougako Teibou Nisshi, I love slice of life anime and I love fishing, so I kinda had to) and it was right there on the 4anime front page, and the site works great. Awesome, thanks again!
A weekly seemed to do ok. I did some numbers comparisons and they seem a bit inconclusive so we'll run with another one and see what habits people drop into.
The discussion that did pop up seemed to be quite interesting nonetheless. I strongly feel these threads will be given a big bump when there's an actual notification for "new comments" on them. I'm looking forwards to sweet sweet site updates.
Arrrh I wrote two long responses and lost both of them. Now I'm too demoralised to write them fully again.

Difference was negligible, 10ish. Hardly able to judge to be honest.

There are off days though, Tues/Thurs/Sun. These are probably because nothing really releases on these days.
Seems good to keep the ball rolling as it is for now. I think what we need to focus on is making some sort of "resource" that gets people to come here frequently. In terms of growth I believe we should have a think about what does not really exist elsewhere that we could make and take ownership of to drive traffic here. I strongly believe we should be pushing into the pro-piracy sector of anime communities as almost every mainstream site has alienated the piracy crowds. This leaves a large gap. I also feel that most communities out there are out of touch with "the people" on this topic and a majority of people are pro-piracy. I think anti-piracy is mostly virtue signalling and the people out there professing anti-piracy all probably engage in piracy when it pleases them to with a "it's ok when I do it" attitude.
I feel like giving people a justifiable reason to pirate "the companies are all bad to their workers and piracy is one of the only ways for consumers to have a digital-protest" feels like a good angle. Providing resources to people will let us open a lib to leftist pipeline as well. Get them to board the bus with us in the name of piracy and even though they might not be leftists when they get on at our station they'll be heading to our destination in the long run.
