The deputy prime minister said the EU's top court was being used to promote federalist ideas. The comments come as Poland and the EU are embroiled in a conflict over judicial changes launched by Poland's leading party.
asking in all seriousness, but isn't Germany one of the better Western countries? at least to live in and raise a family? I mean still capitalist, but that aside..
The social democrats have a lot of sway, and you see it come through in things like nationalized pensions and how workers in every company have elected representation in the board of directors.
But like other EU countries a ton of its surplus wealth is imported from hyper-exploited countries in Africa and Eastern Europe, and the politics skew conservative (despite their definition of conservative being to the left of most Democrats).
I don't know about that but it wouldn't surprise me, Germany was a big part of why austerity got forced on Greece a while back during an economic crash.

Doesn't Germany also have a ton of stolen wealth from Greece that they've refused to pay any reparations for?

Eastern Germany, maybe.
It really isn’t. The east is full of nazis.
