Can your computer handle a game like Noita ? Or maybe Dead Cells? You could also look into doing emulators and roms. When I don't know what else to play, I'll play something like Chrono Trigger or FF7.
And it's one of the most fun little sprite/platformer/roguelite game I've ever played. The ludicrous spells you can cook up combined with the absurd levels of depth of gameplay and lore make for an extremely well made game.
It's very CPU intensive in mid to late game for sure once you start making really strong spells and wands. But it plays ok on my midgrade 5 year old laptop.
i fuckin love noita tho. great rec. i got that mod that randomizes spell tiers so i didnt keep making luminous drill/chainsaw machine guns and it got much more fun
Yeah once you start throwing in mods to add spells and modifiers, the game gets a lot more interesting. I was playing it last night because I came across a video explaining all the lore that exists hidden in plain sight in the game. I had no idea alchemy existed in the base game. Plus all the shrines and so on. Crazy I've been playing it for a few years and never realized there was so much more.

Noita starts easy but gets really rough on older systems.
Once you get wands that shoot 200 different vomit blast spells every 0.1 seconds your pc just fucks itself
t. guy with a potato pc who likes noita
edit: did I just reply to a 2 month old thread lmao
2 months? You are like little baby.
I can literally not remove this message from my inbox fuck you dude lmao
Yeah once the spells start doing a lot of damage and destruction it can really start to drag on older cpus.
WTF Noita
they literally went and made a sandgame with real gameplay????
