it would be funny if it wasn't so fucking terrifying that this giant wedge of unyielding, purposefully crumple zone free metal is operated either by a tesla "autopilot" or the least reasonable bazinga brains on the planet

One of my favorite (read: existentially terrifying) things about these bazinga mobiles is that there's such an emphasis on how fast they can accelerate too.

The 0-60 on a cybertruck is faster than a brand new Ferrari and the truck weighs twice the Ferrari. Force is a function of mass and acceleration. Doubling the mass doubles the force and when it's already at speed, it doubles the kinetic energy. All that to say, it'll be very effective at smashing whatever it hits.

Much in the same way you could never take any nobel peace prize seriously after Kissinger got one I'd argue Biden showing off the 8-Ton-E-Hummer "Obliterate your enemy edition" is the point where anything that is being said by the state as per traffic safety is to be immediatly discared on a, and excuse the redditism here, basis of "Your boos mean nothing, I've seen what makes you cheer"

Tesla says the Cyberbeast can hit 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds, The dual-motor Cybertruck weighs 6603 lbs /3007 kg, while the three-motor Cyberbeast weighs in at 6843 lbs / 3103 kg

            2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo accelerated from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, The Ferrari F8 Tributo 3.9 V8 weighs 1495 Kg / 3296 lbs.

I see, so it's the mass of a stock military Hummer with an order of magnitude more power to weight ratio. I cannot wait to see the first police chase in the US involving one.

This car will run so many blades just like my favourite movie character, Bladerunner.

I propose we put Cybertruck owners and hyper loop supporters on a dangerous persons list, like a sex offender registry. Whenever they move they have to announce to everyone they’re Elon Musk fans (they’ll do this without being on a registry anyway)

I once sarcastically joked that half-ton pickup drivers should require a special oversized vehicle license, and anything larger must be kept a minimum 100-ft away from schools at all times.

People were very mad at me.

They made the truck out of the same stuff as my brown kitchen knives!

Wait, they aren't just painted in metallic colours? They're actually unpainted steel? The more I hear about these things the more I think they may have just been entirely designed by Musk personally and anytime an engineer tried to tell him what cars normally have he fired them.

Vinegar with salt and a few drops of dish soap. Especially effective against electronics/robot police dogs where it will creep through every joint and wire and be impossible to clean off

The Project Farm guy on Youtube tests corrosion resistance with this kind of mix, but I think he adds hydrogen peroxide as well. Seems like it would help generally, but probably not necessary for this untreated slab of metal lmao.
