Hey, how did Putin come to power agan?

Communism. He's always been a Communist. Everything about Russia is Communist. We have been at war with the Communists since the start of Russia in 1914 as a Communist dictatorship. He's trying to take over the world and only we can stop him. The man's ambition knows no bounds.

So anyway, we're sending $40B in military aid to Pakistan in order to open up a border war with Iran to weaken Yemen and reclaim the Red Sea so we can retake West Africa from the Chinese and bring the Sub Saharan states to heel in order to cut off trade to Latin America and completely crush the anti-colonialist resistance that will free up lithium for our factories in Indonesian sweatshops.

And Russia could ruin all of that! They're out of control! They're megalomaniacs!

I am the stupid motherfucker? I just literally told you he was obviously being sarcastic, and yet you still pretend like he was being dead serious, fucking lol. So who do you think is the stupid motherfucker here? If you didn't suffer from brainworms, you'd know that no one here actually believes that Russia is communist. But we do like to make jokes to make fun of stupid motherfuckers like you.

If you're going to defend Azov, and say that WE are buying into Russian propaganda because we say they are nazis, then you've truly lost the fucking plot. You might as well accuse the entire Western media of buying into "Russian propaganda" for years then, because before February 2022 they all agreed that Azov are nazis, and that Ukraine has a nazi problem. There's a shit load of media coverage on Ukraine and Azov since 2014 which you can literally look up on the internet, but you conveniently want to ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist now.

                  Show

And this is just a tiny sample.

If you're going to defend nazis, then you're a piece of shit nazi sympathizer, and I hope you get your face smashed in with a baseball bat like every nazi and their collaborators deserve. Now fuck off scum.

Ukraine can try all the gaslighting they want, but the true fact is that Ukrainian neo-nazis invaded Donbass. Not Russia. They don't like the war. They should respect people's right to self determination and leave

Plus, the only reason Russia intervened is because NATO is a shitty neighbor. They should try being less imperialist. Oh and not overthrow elected governments and fund neo nazi gangs. Pretty easy

The rationale of "well HE attacked first! so any former and further arguments are nullified!" is baby brain shit. I want to insult it by calling it liberalism, but I'm struggling to force the triangle into the square on that one. I really want to though.

It's the same bullshit right wingers, including liberals of course, have played with the DPRK since the war. The US and its puppets were very obviously and clearly escalating with intent to invade the north and forcefully put down the communist forces led by Kim. But they knew invasion was a bad look, so they took that classic Roman tactic of push and push and push until your enemy finally says "fuck it" and attacks first so you get to say "wow! he attacked! that's bad! hey everyone, this Kim guy is bad!" then anything goes and you can justify all kinds of insanity.

Unlike Kim though (whose "invasion" (unification attempt) I support) I don't really support Putin's actions. But to dismiss the very clear and obvious history of NATO and what it's been doing to the USSR and now Russia is so dishonest and playing into the same tired, shitty playbook.

It IS liberalism. It ignores the material conditions leading to the conflict and reduces it to a mere question of who started - allowing the liberal to feel like they have the moral high ground and therefore allow any and all possible response, no matter the consequences. After all, the material reality doesn't matter, only how the already existing can be made to fit into the ideal they want - even if it is, as you said, forcing the triangle into the square.

2022 Poland peacekeeping Buildup of NATO forces in respose to Russia's build-up of forces on Ukraine border

Chef's kiss. Polish anticommunists call presence of Soviet forces in Poland "invasion" and "occupation", so what else is this by their own logic.
