There won't be one, there will be 3 and we will all be conscripted in their corporate forever wars.

I personally hope I get chosen to work at Viacom-Google so I can fight those commies over at Disney-Apple.

Listen I have a personal vendetta against Disney for ruining Marvel by not including 3-D Man in any of their movies.

It was either VG or Exxon-Bayer but they wouldn't hire me because I shared an article on facebook years ago that suggested Round-Up (might) give you cancer.

Speaking of Facebook, a quick sidenote: I was there when they fell to Salesforce in the Battle of The Bay Area. It was bleak. The last techbro begged me to give his child his NTFs just before a Teslabot crushed his skull.

Yeah I know Exxon-Bayer gets you like 20 µBTC annually but shit I’m glad I don’t work in that hellhole

Edit: is Teslabot as big in person as it looks in the ads?

There’s already like ten companies that pretty much own everything between them

And the "independent" small businesses use POS software provided by the big guys anyways, so they're always getting a cut

I'm reminded of 2008, when every bank had some kind of insurance swap deal out with every other bank, and the conclusion was that nobody could ever fail... until Lehman failed and everyone frantically began reevaluating the risk on their portfolios.

In the end, it won't even really be ten companies. It'll be a handful of brokers at the Federal Reserve deciding who gets zero-interest loans and who gets thrown to the sharks. Then people will become angry and the Federal Reserve will be torn down, and all the businesses will collapse into a big pile of nothing.

Private equity groups and investment banks already own a lot of them. If you haven't, you should definitely read Lenin's quintessential work "Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism" for an early 20th century perspective on the division of the world into fewer and fewer hands

There can't be literally only one corporation. It can get to where let's say three companies control ~95 of the market and collude as if they were one sometimes but there's always gonna be some competition however insignificant.

Chinese firms are complete suckers if they invest anything more than loose change in American firms. Its all smoke and mirrors. Everything is Enron now. The only thing keeping the stack of cards from tumbling is the promise of :brrrrrrrrrrrr: on the horizon. And it won't be long before the inflation hawks put an end to that.
