Is it just me or has he really gone off the deep end since the whole benzos thing? Like, at one point, he was actually somewhat good at hiding far-right shit behind a veil of intellectualism, now, he can't help but just give away the game.
It's actually kinda "impressive" how good he used to be at masking it. Like, years ago, right before he got big I heard him on a podcast. No idea who he was at the time. For the first 30 minutes I thought he sounded OK. As someone who for years was living on my own and didn't really take care of things, I had recently learned the mental benefits of having a nice, clean place. So I was like alright, this makes sense. Then he careened hard into his cultural Marxism BS and I was turned off, but I can see how he suckers people in who are inclined that way.
The way he quit comes with the potential for permanent side effects. I think it's not unreasonable to think that either he fried his brain or that the benzos were there to cope with some mental health issue that is now completely untreated.
