Personally, I really liked u/Fatpollo. They always had so many sources and links to their arguments, and I was planning go through these lists before the sub got banned. Not sure if they know about this place though.

Generally speaking, I really liked the very friendly and loving users in the sub, whose names I don't remember exactly. It made the community super welcoming.

    I miss having the megathread always pinned to the top of hot. Seems like this site's algorithm is much more aggressive in prioritizing newer posts. I'd be ok with it just being pinned regardless of whether you are using new/top/hot

      It is just that it is pinned in main, not on your frontpage.

        with the algorithm here weighing post activity too vs. just upvoted posts we're halfway there, the reddity stuff almost feels vestigial
