Remember the BLM protests where people were getting tear-gassed, beaten, shot at, killed, arrested, shoved into vans and never seen again?

The BLM protests make this right-wing tantrum look like daycare.

Gets arrested, treated with the utmost care, cops tell you how much they support your cause, gets released.

      I just wanna go home

      :sadness-abysmal:

      OR

Gets arrested, beat up, thrown in jail, beat up some more, and then released.

Goes back to exactly what they were doing before.

      :ancom-pat:

This friend that lives in a small town found out that the local drunk tank gives you waffles and coffee the next day so me and another pal went and visited with the express purpose of going to the drunk tank. We had fun and the waffles were eggos

I got arrested twice by the same cop. First time he roughed me up and acted like I wasn’t cooperating because I acted confused I guess? Second time he apologized for “having to” arrest me and got me a larger set of handcuffs (am large). Second time I was driving home from a wedding in a rental, so I was dressed pretty nice and in a newer car. Dude just literally hates poor people I guess

Cops inside probably had an "on the level" chat about the situation with him and warned him of what would be coming if it continued. I can't imagine this reaction is coming just from a single night in a cell. There's gotta be conversations that went down to drain the blood from someone this hard.

NGL, I don't consider myself particularly strong-willed, but I could tell this guy got off easily, especially compared to the crackdowns on BLM protests (that he, in all likelihood, supported).

One night is just like staying in a shitty hotel for a night, not gonna shed any tears for this chud if he never even had to go to the commissary.

Like this dude would be losing it if he had to spend a night in the drunk tank.

lol little baby-babs doesn't want to play anymore after experiencing the gentlest of consequences. The comparative weakness of the chuds compared to the will of leftist organizers is really something.

Yeah, I got told off of by fascists Twitter replies because apparently "The Wet'suwet'en were given months of warnings before their unwillingness to meet the most basic demands caused a RCMP crack down" and it is the vaccine mandates and the "truckers" finally being dealt with, that show the West has descended into absolute tyranny. I had some IRL friends that I rescued from the beginning of a slide into the IDW, that give me enough hope to still try to agitate in fascist places. But I just don't know what to do with that level of disconnect from reality.
