She decided to rent out the home to a young family... But since Sept. 1, the tenants haven't paid any rent and now owe about $14,000. When Lori goes to the home to ask for rent, they argue that it is their home and call the police.

Yeah, apparently the landlord teaches. Which, unless you're one of the lucky few to teach at a public school, is such a shit job. Private schools try to only pay you for hours "worked", which seems to basically be in-class hours, often look for advanced degrees, and will essentially make you design a curriculum, while expecting you to get paid a bit above minimum wage. Such a shit-show.
There are so many potential public work projects. But if we're good we will get basic income and DLCs.
