The Bidenization of the party is pretty bleak, lol.

Constantly trying to out-tough and out-nationalist the Republicans through social violence.

They weren't quite all in "superpredator" mode, though foreign policy-wise they're nearly indistinguishable.

"Tough on crime" was a project by folks like Biden and Clinton to win elections by moving into Republican territory. Though it should be mentioned that there was a realignment in the 60s so it was also just a return to form.

feeling extremely vindicated and amusingly petty seeing this after i said i will never vote for a Biden/Cop ticket, and that this was the inevitable conclusion.

and people got extremely mad! lol

Eric Swalwell is a beady eyed sociopath. This post gave me critical psychic damage :agony-deep:

Democrats supporting the police super hard to show Republican voters that they also like state-sanctioned oppression. Except the Republican voters don't give a fuck and will still say they're trying to abolish the police and throw our country into a lawless wasteland.

Gotta love the dems creating the perfect police state the neofash will inevitably inherit after they first put them against the wall.

They really think by doing this they'll have republicans will stop saying they're trying to defund the police and/or their voters will stop believing them.

    Lol

$350 million? I'm sorry, but who the fuck is gonna pay for that, Eric? They're already better-funded than every other public "service" in this country, how goddamn much do they need to have enough?

NYPD annual budget of 11 billion dollars being 5 billion more dollars than the Ukrainian military's annual budget really tells you everything you need to know. It will never be enough. You could double their budget and they would still never help a single working citizen, not even by accident. And that's exactly why they're so well funded.
