The Rally to Restore Sanity was peak lib shit looking back, but there was a time where it seemed Jon Stewart actually cared about structural problems in a way that many libs don't. Of all the dems who ran for 2020, I think I would take Stewart over all of them except for :bernie-pout: (and maybe orb lady because I think it would be funny having a president who consults rocks to make decisions).

There's an actual point in the Daily Show when Stewart is making fun of (close personal friend and then-scandalized congressman) Anthony Weiner and notes, casually, that he will never run for office because of how many skeletons are in his closet.

I think the funniest outcome happening is if Hillary won the nomination but lost the presidential race against someone even dumber than Trump.
He'd be better Senator than Schumer or Gillibrand. Like Al Franken without the groping. If he's eyeing the presidency, he'd be on the progressive wing while choosing to die on bizarre centrist hills on certain issues. Actually, come to think of it, he'd just be Warren, but funnier, less hawkish, and more unqualified.
