Seriously has anyone else tried this? The lady was downright perplexed about that.

I haven't had it happen yet but I'm gonna go with, "when someone tells me I don't need to wear protection, I put on protection."

        :cia: pacific coast

people talk to me a lot because im an ok looking small unassuming woman. i get talked to a lot no matter where i go. before i transitioned everyone avoided me like the plague it seemed lol

like even being out in public for 5 minutes like a quick drop in at the grocery store someone tries to strike up a conversation with me every time. usually only happens when im alone too which makes it feel creepy. if my bf is with me no one ever does which makes everyone think im talking shit and it kinda makes me bonkers

though actually come to think of it when my bf is with me usually gym rats come up to him to accost him cause hes so big. so maybe im just deflecting it onto my bf :galaxy-brain:

exactly. they're already on their way out and it pisses them off so they want the world to end at the same time

"This only kills old and fat people", said the 50-60-something with pre-diabetes, if not full-on diabetes.

Possibly a... positive?... about living in rural chud country, nobody says shit to anybody. Not sure whose packin heat on them or in their car.

My mom, from rural, maximum chud PA where the Klan has an actual presence, always taught me to assume everyone is packing, don't piss them off.

You’re gonna get some intense stares, though. I’ve never seen so many people viscerally angry with me as when I go to the store with a mask on

Had a rando come up to me while walking through the parking lot and say he was so happy about seeing everyone's faces again as I was about to put on my mask. Imo it makes people automatically defensive, like finding out that there's a vegetarian/vegan at the dinner table, people get weird that you're not conforming to their status quo.

I've used the same response to similar results. "I didn't trust the government before and I don't trust them now" kinda breaks peoples brains.
