Blinken/Biden have "green lighted" handing NATO jets to Ukraine. Seriously, how the fuck close do they want to casually dance on the line of WWIII? These hogs are gambling with all of our lives.

Meanwhile, shit libs are cheering it on with a smirk like Biden is playing 5D chess and his "I'm not touching you" strategy isn't absolutely unhinged.

Back during the cold war we had nuclear drills in classrooms as part of the red scare propaganda despite the USSR having no desire to nuke the west.

The scary part now is that we're probably closer than we ever were then and instead you have libs on twitter talking about how nuclear war wouldn't be that bad actually.

What is even the point of this? Ukraine is not going to win this war and every day it drags on is another day the planet could blow up.

The point is to avoid the creation of a multipolar world order. The point is to counter Russian/Chinese cooperation and the potential for future Russian/Chinese hegemony. The US seeks what it calls "preponderant" power in all regions of the planet. This is the word used. What they mean by that is the ability to carry out a "precision strike" with conventional weapons on any geographic point on the planet within 10 minutes. The US views European reliance on Russian gas and Asian reliance on the Belt and Road Initiative as a threat to US preponderant power.

How the US seeks to acquire preponderant power is by through "inter-operability" which is joint training exercises with every military on Earth, and the subordination of all local militaries to the NATO hierarchy.

As others have pointed out this is all very profitable for US military industries, as well. As well as non-military industries. Colonialism has been softened and whitewashed by treaty organizations which appear consensual but they aren't. The US is willing to replace local elected leaders with leaders who will join NATO, take loans from the IMF, work with the CIA, etc.

Why are they willing to risk nuclear war over this? Probably because they're short sighted, selfish, and on institutional autopilot. individuals within these organizations subordinate themselves to larger goals that have been in place for decades and aren't willing to risk their careers by questioning the goals. Simple rhetorical narratives like "spreading democracy" and "protecting our allies" and "providing aid" are enough extinguish any doubt.

love when they say communism forces conformity of thought and doesn't allow deviance to it's detriment, and this is the guiding force of capitalist governance.

The fuck does 'handing' NATO jets even mean? I doubt you can put a jet pilot in just any plane and he'll be fine flying it, do the jets come with their own pilots? How do you transport those jets into Ukraine?

basically establishing the precedent that the US can just put bombs into Ukraine because they consider them an ally, so long as it's not "NATO" itself doing it. we're headed for nuclear war.

Those planes will be flown in by US (or some other big military NATO member) pilots, any attempt by Russian interceptors, AA or AAA will be a direct attack on that country's military. Giving a PR justification for why the USA and NATO nations should move to a more openly "boots on the ground" direct intervention in the Ukraine/Russia war.
