It's just very weird that they felt the need to debunk this. Let's face it, Vaush is well known in online leftist circles... but he's kind of niche overall. (Really, any political YouTube debater is niche.)

He might be connected, but also remember that the people who write articles at all these news websites are also online, posting all day long. Chapo Trap House is a pretty niche podcast when you get down to it. but then still have had articles written in major publications. The sadder reality is that some journalist twerp just felt the need to defend their YouTube friend.
It should be a bannable offense to include the word "Vaush" in titles on hexbear.net
