For nearly two weeks, the invasion of Ukraine has been a daily TV show of good versus evil.

    lmao fuck off

    also:

Putin’s murderous zombies in uniform — do not call these animals “soldiers”

Then there was the girl in the coastal city of Odesa, helping to fill sandbags in advance of a feared amphibious assault by the Russian animals

The first being: these animals are incompetent.

    :what-the-hell:

Such transparent bazinga bait. I wonder how many girls in Afghanistan helped rebuild roofs and conceal campfires in advance of a "feared" (mathematically certain) bombing raid by the American animals? I sure seem to recall hearing a lot of very sincere concern about them exactly two times and never again.

It is known Afghan, Iraqi, Kurdish, Yemeni, Lybian, and Honduran children don't sing Disney songs, just their weird folk music. That's why they lost.

EDIT: Read the piece. It's full of quotable quotes, such as "This is Hollywood Storytelling 101: He badly miscalculated the good" (Of course a Disney-obsessed entertainment writer would think in those terms), "You can’t bomb an indomitable spirit into submission", and "It is not a stretch to say that, at this moment in time, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is leader of the free world".

I am literally at my wits' end with this whole "Ukraine is special" situation. I've interviewed Haitian, Honduran and Venezuelan refugees in Chiapas and Mexico City, and all their stories are as heartbreaking and blood-ridden as any coming out of Ukraine these days, but they've found no such succor from the media or the world's governments. Which is not to say Ukrainians don't deserve our sympathy as they endure an invasion from one of the world's military powers. But the hypocrisy is becoming very taxing.

You can’t bomb an indomitable spirit into submission.

This is what liberals actually believe.

Holy fuck, who the fuck did he think Nato has been bombing? What, there aren't any kids in those countries or something? Like the ones that are terrified of clear blue skies cos that's when the American drones turn up? Jesus fucking christ I always knew Western society was as racist as fuck but it's just rubbing it in at this point.
