I am having some legitimate success in bringing right wing chuds into leftist circles by relating "deep state" rhetoric to "anti imperialism" via the concept of finance-capital.

It is legitimately possible to make people on the right see "anti imperialism" as the same thing as "fighting the deep state". They are still a little brainwormed but it's a huge step forwards compared to having the door slammed in your face. These people are able to then see and understand the concept of "critical support" when it comes to figures like Xi, Assad, Putin and so on because it is literally what is flying around their own circles when "deep state" is brought up. Everyone is "fighting the deep state".

What are some other translatable concepts that are kind of brainwormy but also work to get your foot in the door with these people? They're so close to getting it...

Real material issues that affect everyone, just wrapped in a veneer of patriotism if necessary

“It’s unreal that living in the richest country in the world folks can’t go to the doctor without getting in a massive amount of debt”

“The government doesn’t care about us they only work to serve the elite.”

“We’re all getting screwed by the banks”

“I don’t understand why the government spends so much damn money on military shit when our roads and bridges are falling apart”

Etc etc. Particularly effective since a D is in office now criticism of the government comes across as criticism of democrats

Finance-capital is again analogous to the deep state in this topic too, it can be wrapped up in it and can be a useful segue into outright leftist discussion. I'm almost thinking that if you teach these people the ability to "translate" the language then they could be dropped into leftist discussion.

I was just saying in here the other day that I believe it’s easier to radicalize a certain type of chud than libs, they acknowledge that there’s a problem but lack the vocabulary to express it or the necessary critical viewpoints, it’s been beaten out of them by rocky 4

Essentially what the patsoc nerds are doing, minus the "if necessary" part. Probably.

Yeah I mean it’s pretty shit stuff since everyone deserves these things, but we’re talking about maga hogs here so baby steps. “We’re AMERICANS and we don’t deserve to live like this” is one way to push left adjacent ideas without immediately sounding like the commies we are

That's Communism within the Imperial core for you.

It kinda sucks but I've had some good progress speaking to people about it like that.

Every person deserves the fruits of their own labor, all of it. Not the government, not anyone else.

If you pad the argument with right wing concepts too much then you'll end up in nazbol territory and it becomes racism with leftist characteristics.

This is way too often just an excuse for straight people to hide their transphobic / homophobic opinions inside of anti-capitalist language. Queer critiques of rainbow capitalism are more likely to have merit, though.

Rainbow capitalism is the one I was thinking of, thanks.

"It's just an advertising campaign, they'll sell your face too the instant it makes them a buck." I'm thinking you could exploit that brainworm to get into why companies always do marketing or token bullshit before improving the workplace or product. Profits directly competing with wages, idk.
