I love the notion of womanly gays and manly lesbians. It's so widespread that I can't really blame this person.

After all, if there's one thing lesbians don't care for, it's women!

That reminds me of my dad being as homophobic (auto correct really wanted hemophilia out of that word) as he felt was progressive in the late 90s and felt it was odd that gay dudes might act femine and same but masculine for women but that came up way less because why would you behave like other gender if you wanna attract dame gender. Which I really wish I had the current terminology and knowledge to really really make fun of him for that one at the time, especially if it was coming from me at age 10 or so. Apparently dude wasn't a homophobe but strictly anti twink and didn't understand gay dudes who weren't Tom of Finland illustrations, which is pretty funny. Anyway, he's over it and pretty fucking chill about stuff despite having genuine old dude not understandings, he also knows he doesn't have to understand a person to treat them half decent. I forget why, I think it was shit talking my dumbass cousin thst I brought up her Harry Potter adulthood and mentioned JK Rowling being a transphobe and both of my folks view was not understanding why anyone would be bothered by someone else transitioning cause it doesn't affect you in a y meaningful way and it's weird to boil someone down to a gender, whether cis or not. Which was weird to hear from my mid sixty year old parents who generally aren't that eloquent.

went and actually watched the video because I wanted to be angry I guess. Literally just a thinly veiled excuse to hate women who don't perform femininity for men. Like, she keeps saying how this lara looks terrible because she doesn't have a full feminine figure. Like, why is that what you value miss lady? You won't enjoy being a doll for shitty men in 15 years when they stop being attracted to you.

Any woman who does not base her womanhood around sisterhood is a danger to everyone around them.

Edit: I went through her video history and its super clear that she took a drop in viewership the moment she started dyeing her hair. She has devoted her youtube channel to enforcing patriarchy's discipline upon the free expression of women and queer people. The moment she made the slightest step into her own self expression the leopards started eating her face.

Also she has the charisma of a cardboard cutout. She made so much room for patriarchy she forgot to make room for herself.

The irony is, she’s got a pretty similar figure to the Netflix version of Croft there, she puts a long sleeve button up on, bam, pretty much the same but gothy-er

Just checked. It's the woman from the video. And she has a life-size Lara Croft statue in the corner of the room next to a fake giant stick of butter for some reason. Also getting some weird accent of her like French Canadian or Israeli. It sucks either way. Oh, she's doin' bible streams too. She suuuuucks.

I do wonder how these women grifters feel about their job and audience. She must get so many fucked up and creepy messages from her "fans" describing explicitly exactly what they want to do to her, and if she wants to keep her grift going, she has to pretend that it isn't creepy as shit and act flattered by it. Does she actually believe the bullshit she spouts? Surely she should reconsider considering how toxic her own audience is, she's "one of the good ones" right now, but if her audience got their way, it would be Kinder Kitche Kurche for her.

"The masculine dress," she repeated, as if not quite comprehending my meaning. "Do you mean my dress?"

"Why, yes; it is a man's dress I suppose, is it not?"

"Why any more than a woman's?" she answered rather blankly. "Ah, yes, I actually forgot for a moment whom I was talking to. I see; so it was considered a man's dress in your day, when the women masqueraded as mermaids. You may think me stupid not to catch your idea more quickly, but I told you I was dull at history. It is now two full generations since women as well as men have worn this dress, and the idea of associating it with men more than women would occur to no one but a professor of history. It strikes us merely as the only natural and convenient solution of the dress necessity, which is essentially the same for both sexes, since their bodily conformation is on the same general lines."

They’re upset that she’s too masculine for… wearing clothes to stay warm, but not because she’s a globetrotting adventurer who fights men, knows bush craft, and can parkour and use weapons kiryu-stare

Almost certainly because, while they don't have women in their lives globetrotting, fighting men, bushcrafting, and parkouring, they've all been aggrieved by a women who wore clothes they didn't like

Is this made by the Castlevania people? Cause it kinda looks like it and that show has been the pansexually horny action trash I've needed in my life and it gave an NES game a show without going off the established rails at all. I've never played a tomb raider but if they get it as right as Castlevania it'll have something for everyone to be aroused by.

Treffy, Sypha, and Alucard are the best bi polycule (big rip to those assassins from earlier, but Alucard was due for another sadboy arc)

Here's hoping Tomb Raider and the DMC show can live up to the levels of my trash that Castlevania exhibited.

It is absolutely perfect trash to represent the game series. I'm a huge fan of the games until 20 years ago or so when it all went to shit, castlevania 3 is one of my favorite games (play the Japanese version, in an odd inverse it's the more fair version and is a bit easier than the first game, the classic collection includes.it if you switch the language to Japanese) and aside from no Grant, they really stuck to cannon while expanding only three blank spots. New season was cool with the few.ch revolution but I do miss Dracula.
