yeah it's full of libs but you'd think they wouldn't celebrate a landlord telling them nobody makes enough money for him to turn a profit

"Post left" is always the funniest shit to me. Guys, guys, we haven't won yet. We are still at the "nothing to lose but our chains" stage of this whole Leftism thing. Where the fuck do you get off thinking you are already entitled to a position that is somehow after ours?
Am I just being semantic? Maybe? I don't know. I just never understood what the fuck any of it meant, and since it can't seem to accomplish jack-shit in the real world, I'm kinda inclined to believe it can't be understood. Post left, to me, is like vibes-based leftism. I am disinclined to take it any more seriously than twitter ultras.
The central post-leftist doctrine seems to be an assertion the chains are largely imaginary and can be overcome not through mutual aid and organization, but rather, a simple refutation of being defined as someone in chains. They believe work can be overcome by simply not showing up to work. Politics can be overcome by simply refusing to engage in it. Bigotry can be overcome by simply not associating with bigots. They believe liberation can exist at an individual level and is in fact preferable that way.
Like I've read a lot of their literature and I think their dream would be to set up shacks in the woods or something, except half of them just like partying and the other half are literal tenured philosophy professors, so good luck getting that going.
So they managed to become anti-social socialists as policy, not simply because of something like depression or anxiety.
I don't think they've managed to do anything other than write some screeds in obscure journals with 12 readers. Running the antiwork subreddit is probably the most impact they've ever had on wider discourse.
so basically Red Scare?
the nebulous idea of "post-left" is appealing to people who were flirting with leftism until they realized they'd have to interact with people offline and potentially break a sweat at some point.
Yeah exactly, it's like... <espouses reactionary values>... <abuses leftist jargon to justify them as somehow being "more left" (despite being incoherent and divorced from any actual leftist theory)>
Zero theory zero critical thinking just liberalism with a different vocabulary
