          Is it? Seems like a lot of words to say, "Mao was right". Western Marxists approach Marxism from a place of moral imperative, not material conditions because our material conditions, while not great compared to the 1%, are vastly superior to those of people in the global south. I don't think it has much, if anything, to do with Christianity. Also, accusations of "centrally planned capitalism" against China are coming as much from Chinese youth as they are from western Marxists.

      I don’t understand how this is your assessment of what Beau’s saying. Is it incorrect to say that occupations are more drawn-out operations? If not, then the idea that Ukraine should have just done nothing is inaccurate. He’s trying to argue that Russian occupation would have been worse for the people of these countries.
