When The Blues Brothers was released, a lot of Gen Xers were teenagers. A lot of Boomers were already in their 30s. It's a knockabout farce for a juvenile audience. Boomer movies probably start about 20 years earlier.

idk they're winners but Rashomon is pretty much the GOAT.
