I can excuse cops abusing their power to brutalize innocent people and pedophilia

But I draw the line at protecting children

OK, you're a defense attorney and you're willing to give any client a chance at their trial - fair enough. As soon as you say there is someone that you won't defend, however, you have drawn a line in the sand. You're saying "I will defend pedophiles, but enforcing public health policy is a step too far."

My question is, what sort of lawyer can't figure that out and avoid posting this shit on the internet? Just laugh about it with your ghoul friends over expensive cocktails like a normal rich person? What is going on with these people lately?

Edit: I read a few articles and there was an easy answer. This has been a recurring pattern for this person and they're setting up for a career in grifting. The best part of the pandemic ending would be the millions of lives that are saved, but surely the smalltime grifters who failed to land a spot with Fox having to go back out and get desk jobs would be a close second.

"I can excuse lying, I can excuse pea-dough, I can excuse corruption. But telling people what to do? NO WAY! I have STANDARDS! What kind of authoritarian do you take me for?"

"I can excuse racism but I draw the line at animal cruelty!"

      "...you can excuse racism?!"

Because the local media is giving these people a voice and they're feeling empowered now. So empowered that apparently they think saying shit like this is ok.

Its not even a huge movement. Any time the news shows these people are their protests its like some tens of people. But the way its framed and covered by the media makes it seem like its one of the more important things going on in NYC right now.

Lol how ethically incompetent does someone have to be to say that? A fuckin, kindergartener could tell you that's the kind of thing a bad person would say.

    Edit: Batman-level bad person things.

Not a very good attorney if she is representing these creeps on behalf of the city instead of doing everything in her power to sever liability between the two entities.
