Wait she's in the music industry? I just assumed she was a twitter personality or lib journalist or something.
She is just a hack music critic. Absolutely atrocious writing https://twitter.com/rlycalm/status/1512536823855140867?t=TQxYefEAEoXU6ErmuHhPAw&s=19
I love how she just shits all over BLM in the linked pieces but then demands that folks respect her Israeli/Jewish identity like she is some sort of fucking angel.
Arakis-level brain worms on that one.
seeing the world as a system of "perimeters" outside of which terrible violence is done without repercussion is perfect encapsulation of zionism actually
She was a Jewish-perspective "culture writer" for Pitchfork a while back.
“I’m a monster. Clearly I keep vials of Palestinian baby blood in my freezer.”
Ok but has anyone actually seen her freezer like are we sure
Politifact rating: False
Fact checkers raided Ms. Fartlow's freezer and did not find vials of Palestinian baby blood. They did find a suspicious amount of both pistachio and mint chocolate chip-flavored Jeni's Ice Cream, as well as over a dozen vials of Palestinian pre-adolescents' blood and gall bladder secretions. Since the bodily fluids were not extracted from infants, we at Politifact Video Guide rate this claim at one out of five fact-check boners (False).
Similarly, Clarence Thomas called the rape charges against him a "high-tech lynching."
Chuds hate identity politics while at the same time using any possible identity as a shield that they can.
Chuds hate identity politics
Identity politics is chud politics
Do people dislike my zealous support for an active genocide?
No, it must be bad optics.
The thing about fartlow is, in her thousands and thousands of nonsense tweets, afaik she's never actually stated what she thinks the solution is to the situation in Israel / Palestine. Does she want to exterminate all Palestinians? Does she think they will all just evaporate into ether one day? Does she believe in a two-state solution, or maybe even just one state where everyone's dignity is respected and the Israelis make amends (like right of return).
I suspect it's some combination of the first two, which is why she's never said what she thinks the solution is. Because then she'd be revealed as the monster she is
She won't have a coherant plan because she doesn't want to think about it. She wants them to go away and be quiet. If you gave her the option of Palestinains either being exterminated or being given I dunno, a brand new place to live far away she probably would choose the latter. However she'd pick the first if there wasn't a choice.
Basically, the reason people like her get so angry at injustice is because they know deep down how much they benefit from it. At some point along the line they've quietly decided in their own minds that they're OK with the injustice. As most people think of themselves as good people, being reminded that they really, really aren't tends to result in them directing all that anger at the victims of the injustice.
Blacklisted? I haven't kept up with the On Cinema universe but I thought DKR was still performing.
