Every 3 years libs reinvent third way politics and think it's a revolutionary new idea. The wild part is doing it at a time when left wing ideas, both on economics and cultural issues, are widely popular.

I would once again like to remind everyone that public opinion has no measurable influence on US government policy. "Democracy"

I can’t stand when libs say unpopular opinion and then go on to state the default status quo take on something

Unpopular Opinion: Let's do literally the exact thing we've been doing since forever.

To be fair though it is the unpopular opinion. Left wing policies like decent healthcare are popular.

The opinion being given here is on how to implement policy not the policy itself. You’re right Left wing policies are definitely popular bc they’re unambiguously good, generally speaking. People, asked in a vacuum, or generally going to agree good things should happen.

How to get good things tho, is more ambiguous and thus easier to propagandize people on. I think most liberals would agree that capitulation is the way forward bc it appeals to their civility minded politics and aligns with the recuperated stories about how meaningful change has been brought about in the past. Also it benefits capital. I mean that’s why it’s the prevailing ideology amongst liberals in the first place

This is exactly why humans need to become an interplanetary species! And by that I mean an unsustainable vanity outpost on an ecologically-dead world with bone-witheringly low gravity, a lack of radiation shielding, and toxic dust everywhere. That way, if Earth becomes uninhabitable, that vanity outpost can also die when supplies run out a short time later. :so-true: :my-hero:

Look at it this way: If we could get leftists in to the asteroid belt we could drop rocks on people who annoy us. Cancel culture at 40,000km/s

even if it means explicitly sacrificing most priorities of the left

Is there anything new about this? This has been :LIB: policy for a very long time.

actually democracy where we vote for all the bad things is better than commie where the dictators do all the good things

We don't even have democracy. We live under the dictatorship of an oligarchy. If we actually had democracy things wouldn't suck nearly as bad as they do.

God what a fucking pathetic worm, its obvious to everyone who he means should be fed to the woodchippers but he cant bring himself to actually say it, how the fuck do you present a platform of "tough but necessary sacrifice" when you cant even openly tell people who is being chosen for the sacrifice? Is he just that fucking scared of being hated by anyone that he ends up hated by everyone but his own ilk?

Ok wait is it just me or is this guys account a little :sus-deep:?

Says he joined in 2012 and he has 11k followers but he hasnt had any activity I can see until April this year? Maybe hes one of those twitter guys that regularly purge their history but libs usually just let their ass hang out to get their 2014 tweets where they say the N word and make homophobic jokes get screenshotted and "This you?"'d.
