Hopefully Biden is too incompetent to coup the country right next to us after a referendum
Do it AMLO, fucking do it. Revolution time now and make sure to purge your military.
About time. More developing countries need to do this. It's about time our governments realized that letting foreign investors own most of our industries hasn't really led to our countries gaining wealth as promised.
Oh shit it's time for the 2nd Mexican American war
"Listen Jack, it's about time someone showed those brown skinned savages something about freedom and democracy! The chaos just over the border has gone on too long! No more!"
I'd say it's much more likely that America just meddles way more in Mexico's next election in 2024.
Breaking news: WMDs spotted in Mexico. Former ally said to be in flagrant defiance of nuclear proliferation treaty. US intelligence reports that the AMLO regime plans to unleash anthrax from secret bunkers to destroy the West. Narco freedom fighters push towards Mexico City.
At least America will get to successfully prosecute one last war without getting its carriers smoked.
surprised mexico is doing this and not bolivia
edit: i stand corrected :sicko-flipped:
I think Luis Arce brought back the state-owned lithium company, so it's been nationalized since the coup was overturned:

Article also mentions advising and cooperation with Mexico.
Hey, Russia invaded a neighbor, midterms are coming up, the US needs this one, OK?
It's so sad to see another country destroyed by election fraud, hopefully the OAS will be able to set things right
i think mexico is doing this because comparisons with ukraine would be too on the nose if america invaded, the referendum was some good extra precaution tho.
imagine if ww3 ended up Russia & USA vs Ukraine, Mexico and EU.
What about Grenada? I think the US has invaded Haiti a couple times too, although probably before like 1960.
