2020, yeah, this place is fucked.
2016, I think he could've won it.
Florida's so red at this point it would be political malpractice not to.
It’s still contested, but the Cubans are staying, the old people are being kept alive by medicine, and all the shitty people from all over America are coming to move here. So yeah it’s staying Republican I guess
I love that he admitted this.
When every other Brooklyn Jew around him growing up was mindlessly going on about how great Miami is…he was in search of the complete opposite. And winds up in one of the most Northern and cold states possible, near the Canadian border.
There was that story during the ‘16 campaign of him giving tips on how best to make a fire in a wood-burning stove. Was one of many personal stories of his non-commercial/consumerist person (others include him only owning one suit when he got to DC, and that reluctantly; and also his refusal to wear a black tie to a White House event, in which he and Nelson Mandela were the only ones not to do so) that endeared the fuck out of him to me.
Would have won in a monumental landslide of the DNC and MSM didn’t tag-team to bring him down.
I still bristle at the collusion.
If he won the primary the dems would have immediately started rehabilitating Trump.
:geordi-no: Florida,
and also
:geordi-no: Cuban expats from the Cuban Revolution
:bern-disgust: I'm Bernard Sanders, and I approve this comment.
Not just expats from Cuba but all over Latin America, and they’re nice people, until the conversation gets political. Then you lose all hope after that
