I literally don’t fucking care. Capitalism is a land of monsters. You’re choosing to hyperfocus on someone who’s doing better than others with a similar platform and similar choices. Go get equally expressedly mad at another influencer who bought the same shirt and then I’ll think this shit is in any way a good faith criticism.

The difference is that we don't have to point out that Logan Paul is, in fact, bad. But when those on the supposed left act in ghoulish ways, it's notable.

I mean, I don't really care either, but I guess I'm here shidding my doo doo pants over some dude whom I've never watched, so....

It’s self-sabotage is what it is. Unless they are actively espousing reactionary rhetoric under the guise of leftism, you take what you can fucking get. I think Hasan is a fucking lib half the time on his foreign policy takes but if he were gone then the most prominent left-claiming streamer would be Vaush, and that’s an entirely worse image problem for the left to have compared to Hasan’s. And at a certain point it just becomes an entirely exclusionary place where we just entirely reject the pipeline itself for the purity of the clique.

I suppose I don't need to remind you that V*ushposting is :haram:

The real answer is that nothing happens on fucking twitch, and we need to be organizing in out communities, but I really don't think it's unreasonable to criticize someone for taking a private jet to Coachella and calling themselves a socialist.

Yeah at the end of the day I’m critiquing the critique. The purchase is cringe. The amount of effort spent criticizing the purchase is insane and unproductive. There is so much that could have been done with just a fraction of the effort and time that some leftists spend getting really mad at Hasan. It just doesn’t accomplish anything.

Yes, having an outed pedophile cryptofash with an audience of actual neo-Nazis represent the left is going to cause an image problem.

Edit: come on, your statement in isolation from this minute meaningless drama is unironically the most fed shit I’ve seen on this site.

Hasan is fucking cringe but that doesn’t mean you should be fucking sabotaging your fucking ideological pipeline! :matt-jokerfied: We’re so fucking useless tactically, holy shit! Do you ever wonder why the right doesn’t spend this much energy calling Ben Shapiro and Dave Rubin slurs even though they express characteristics and sometimes views that are not in line with their own ideology? Do you ever wonder why the right is so fucking popular in America? The algorithm can only carry so much weight! YOU HAVE TO HAVE A PIPELINE!

I’m so tired. We’re never going to build socialism if we keep purity testing every single fucking person who claims to be a leftist. We’re either being COINTELPROd or we’re literally COINTELPROing ourselves. I can’t tell any more. Clique behavior. I’m going to bed, I cannot get into this shit anymore, this is too much effort to spend on something so minute as streamer drama, but god fucking damn.

There's been some genuine :cia: activities within left circles. Couldn't tell you the extent of it because it's impossible to know for sure, but there have been enough instances of prominent 'left' figures working for the state that I feel comfortable in saying they're at least in the periphery.

Twitch streamers aren't a pipeline log off and actually talk to people come on.

Online doesn't really matter. The right is popular online in America because they're the cultural default and popular everywhere.

This is the exact same shit as saying Ben Shapiro isn’t a pipeline. We live in a digital world and we need digital infrastructure. Not everything is solved by a nebulous “touching grass”.

I feel like people say this to just excuse the fact that we’ve allowed the alt-right to use the internet to a major radicalization advantage. Almost every modern Nazi got there through 4chan. Online matters less but online still matters.
