Jewish voices are too often excluded from precisely the conversations they should be leading.

Feel like this sub-header is getting forgotten in the absolutely deluge of bad faith in the article. The belief that Jews should be leading the conversation on Palestinian rights is unabashed Jewish Supremacism. I don't want to make needlessly inflammatory comparisons, but trying to claim any kind of good faith while pretending that the voices of Jews are more important than the voices of Palestinians is just breathtakingly arrogant. In what mad world are the voices of the oppressed less important than the voices of people who are either distantly associated with the oppressors or are the oppressors or their supporters?!

Palestinian voices should be leading the conversation on Palestinian liberation.

this is a good point. I think if you were to press her on it, she'd say something like she meant more that Jewish and Palestinian voices equally should be leading the conversation, and that she feels the left sidelines Jewish voices in favor of Palestinian ones.

Which I think shows the difference of how liberals and leftists approach this conflict and conflict in general. Liberals don't understand power dynamics. Despite years of genocide and apartheid, liberals treat Israel and Palestine as somehow equal, as if the solution is to bring two equal parties to the table to have a civil discussion, when in reality there is a huge power disparity between the two groups, one is the oppressor and the other the oppressed. These are not equal parties but an oppressed party fighting their oppressor. Instead liberals are constantly obsessed with bringing "all stakeholders" to the table as if "all stakeholders" have equal power in the situation.

This isn't all Jewish people. This is Zionists. The difference matters.

Is there anything Zionists love more than conflating Judaism and Zionism?

It's a really dark propaganda tool. If they can convince people that Judaism and Zionism are the same thing, then they've convinced people that all Jewish people are culpable for Zionist imperialism. Basically setting up the Blood Libel conspiracy theory, but in reverse. It tries to put non-Zionist Jews in to a position where they're held responsible for Zionism, leaving them isolated politically and socially to coerce them in to supporting Israel.

A big part of the goal is to make it politically unsafe to be Jewish outside of Israel, forcing diaspora Jews to come to Israel and support and further Zionist causes.

Hence why Israel cozies up with far right parties/groups in Europe and even materially supports literal neonazi paramilitaries (Azov even before the invasion).
