Inspired by that Dune post.

"Moneo, did I tell you about the time I was Jeffrey Chaucer?"

    Sighs "...no lord...."

    "I have no genitals Moneo"

    "Yes lord..."

I genuinely love God Emperor of Dune. It's unintentionally hilarious and probably my favourite of the series.

Leto II acts exactly how a 3500 year old 12 year old boy/worm God with infinite memories would act.

I view Leto and Moneos relationship as being like that between Zapp Branigann and Kiff. I can't help but read them in their voices.

"There is nothing more insidious in an army than homosexuality. Moneo. Anyway, how are the preparations going for my army's ritual lesbian orgy?"

You would love lessthanagodmorethanaman's comics, then. He even does a strip of that scene where it's Duncan Idaho having a panic attack over lesbians.

Okay, so the artist's name is Andy Slack. Here's his Kofi: https://ko-fi.com/s/d476811d0b

Otherwise I just saw a bunch of his comics through Dune Sietchposting on Facebook.

I think I might have seen that one. When I was on Reddit there was a great dune meme sub. I was regularly in tears over how silly the memes were.

I think it’s every dune fans favorite, and the only people who can’t stand it are those who struggled with dune messiah. I really need to read it again as it’s been over a decade and I hardly remember much

What is even the point of the unironic version of this question? Like, no? We'd never meet. I don't speak worm, you filthy Gusano.

I was spoiled on who this character is and it makes me wonder how Herbert even thought of this lmao

When I read Dune as an 18-yo, someone told me he wrote it on acid and Coke.

After I understood what kind of acid he meant I felt stupid for asking, so I stayed privately baffled about how Coca-Cola could help inspire this kind of stuff for a couple more years. 🤦😂
