i did that for a while, but eventually there were enough unfinished stuff i was reading i figured it would be worth being able to bookmark them. 37 of my bookmarks are tagged trans female character, which gives you an idea of my priorities as a reader.
Somehow Kid Icarus Uprising hasn't been mentioned yet, definitely a top 5 game on the system. Also grab Elite Beat Agents, my favorite rhythm game of all time and the inspiration of later rhythm game Osu.

I would say that majora is one of the best zelda games so definitely give it a go if you think you'd enjoy it
it is in no way like botw but it's a really interesting zelda game that doesn't feel like any of the others (despite reusing assets from OoT like crazy).
if you're not invested in the series i'm not sure how it's going to come across, however.
truth be told i don't know much about the port, i do remember emulating MM on PC and it was fine. i didn't know there were HD mods though...

Check out Electroplankton, Rhythm Heaven, Elite Beat Agents, Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton, and Trauma Center games. I think they're my faves that use the DS/3DS format.
