the buggy reveal absolutelly ruled, Oda refuses to stop the bit, buggy will fall his way into becoming the pirate king at this rate, Ryokugyu being a akainu fan boy throwed me off a lot, and there is just so much on this chapter, like the sabo picture on the background like WHY????, ryokugyu just destroying king and queen by himself and also didn't expect hisdevil fruit being so scary, oda keeps making plant related fruits really freaky, also i really enjoy the equal bounty thing and i am really curious towards what oda will do to kid after wano, because i feel like we will have another law kid luffy alliance by the end of the series, and we are still missing a lot of context for him
TL;DR: ONE PIECE WAS CRAZY GOOD THIS WEEK
Buggy failing upwards is hilarious, I can't wait to see what he bumbles his way to next. I feel the same about Ryokugyu, but it maybe explains why he took the position in the first place.
Law too, Kid is untapped but Law has kinda completed most of his goals and I don't imagine he'd just stick around with the Strawhats.
the thing that really makes me wonder about kid is because his backstory is somehow related to shanks, like he took his arm and he wasn't planning on going against kaido, he wanted to get shanks, so whenever we get to shanks kid will be there, like maybe we have to deal with whatever the fuck happened outside wano and don't go to elbaf directly and kid gets there first, Law might leave for a sec and do some stuff, like he has been with the straw hats since punk hazard except for whole cake arc and they finally did what they set out to do there,
ryokugyu seemed so chill all the other times we saw him, it is insane how not chill he is, looks really cool though, love that he has a suicide pact tattoo.
oda just flexed before his break, i will be thinking about this chapter during the break he got me
i am curious how they decided on who was the emperor of the three. i guess they just went with luffy because he was already the fifth emperor. i doubt they think he's in charge of the alliance, because then he'd have a higher bounty than them.

I wonder if Morgans was the one that decided it? The paper was the one that declared Luffy the fifth emperor
Luffy already had influence with his grand fleet, a much more powerful crew, and I think some territory if you include Fishman Island wanting to hang the Straw hat flag in place of Big Mom's.
Edit: Should also add that some members of his grand fleet include the military of other countries, which would make them his territory in a way.
The problem is that Kid's crew sucks. Killer is the only heavy hitter while Luffy has a former warlord, a Vinsmoke , another supernova, last surviving scholar from Ohara, Yasopp's son, and Tom's former apprentice. Now he also has Kaido's child.
almost certainly true, but it wouldn't surprise me if kid introduced at least one more notable crewmate. but at the same time maybe not, it isn't like law has anyone besides himself and maybe bepo that people actually care about.
I really want some of the Nine Red scabbards to join Law or Kid like Denjiro or Kawamatsu. It might be a stretch because they're dedicated to Oden, but it would really give Law and Kid a boost. Even some defectors from the Beast Pirates like Ulti or Sasaki would go a long way.
Lol was shanks talking about Buggy to the gorosei? Idk how else he got that nod. I assumed the emperors were emperors because they were emperors, not like top 4 greatest threats in the new world, cus then shouldn't dragon be like #1 emperor?

if shanks was talking about buggy that would be the funniest bit on one piece, it would rule, also like we don't know what happened outside wano, and buggy is on paper a really good candidate, he has a huge crew, "fought" in the paramount war, was a part of Roger's crew, and his defeat by the rookie luffy seems less and less embarassing the more notorious luffy gets, and with the ending of the warlords maybe some of them joined up with buggy like wevil could maybe because he technically knows his dad, i don't know anything could have happened outside wano
Dragon and the Revolutionary Army are on the Red Line IIRC. Dragon was called world's most notorious criminal, but I think he poses a different threat to the World Government than the Emperors do

i mean, buggy has a massive crew. that was his thing as a warlord. so i totally buy that he started doing emperor stuff after the warlords got shut down. or maybe his crew started claiming islands without his approval and he just had to go along with it.

Emperors are the greatest threats with power and influence. Dragon is a threat in that he directly challenges the power structure of the World Government. The Emperors don't really directly attack the government and are happy to stay in their areas of the New World.
Buggy likely got it from already having territory and influence due to his business as a warlord. Pirates all over were working as mercenaries and flying his flag in order to get around any issues with the marines. This probably led to Buggy's name becoming increasingly well-known throughout the world. He also likely did something after escaping or somehow defeating the marines sent after him. A good theory is that he connected with other warlords and formed his own mini Rox crew.
Imo buggy will be known as pirate king when its all said and done. Luffy will be the most free dude on the sees, but the public will think its buggy.

He's definitely not that guy, but he did just beat King and Queen. He could wreck a bit of shit
He beat a recently owned King and Queen. But even if he were better than Zoro and Sanji combined, both of them are right there. Also the rest of the straw hats, also Law and Kidd are right there. And Luffy is the awakened child of destiny with the power of a god. GREEN BULL IS JUST A DUDE.
oda likes to mirror stuff that happened in the first half in the new world, so it would not be out of the realm of possibility that we get a reverse aokiji debut, where aokiji humbled the straw hats, green bull gets humbled by the strawhats
