Hooting and hollering at every line of the article. Endlessly whining that Gen z are doing good things.

Got this article from streetfight radio.

It’s no wonder Gen Z is so willing to pipe up if they don’t get what they want — they’re simply repeating what they were taught on campus.

Yeah real free thinkers just go along with whatever their boss says without hesistation

Also, as far as this is a real phenomenon, I don't think the cause of genz getting more vocal is because of woke campus politics. What probably is a bigger cause is that job training has been given to universities, and universities transformed into an expensive consumer product. Of course when your job training becomes consuming an expensive product, one of the lessons you take away is that you can complain to get what you want. Again, employees trying to take control of the workplace is a very good thing, but it's so funny that one of the things that lead to this is employers pushing the cost of job training onto employees and creating a consumer mindset around both job training and work.

Campuses aren't really super liberal IMO. It's just that religious reactionaries spend 18 years keeping their kids in as airtight a bubble as possible. Those kids then go off to college and notice, for example, that gay people are just normal people and not some scary boogieman.

If you lie to people their whole lives, and then they go to college and find out they've been lied to, they start wondering what else was a lie and suddenly their whole worldview is unravelling like a sweater caught in a wind turbine.

Or: These people experience cognitive dissonance and dont have a coping strategy for it and thus foment a ton of ever worsening viewpoints that can only be solved by the complete destruction of increasingly larger others. Fascism.

I know you meant this differently but campuses are incredibly liberal. Liberal values are what academia in the west is built on. It's a big part of why leftists (Graeber, Finklestein, Parenti(?) etc. etc.) are shut out of the institution.

Of course it also means that the only intersectional ideas allowed there are the coopted, idealistic liberal kind.

It's the New York Post, so yes that's very much what they're whining about.

Sister of a friend walked out of a boomer's company cause he was a dick. He was totally confused why she wouldn't just take his verbal abuse, since he claimed workers didn't mind being belittled and yelled at constantly.

Remarkably, despite only just entering the workforce, 37 percent of Gen Z-ers say they’ve already rejected a job or assignment based on personal ethics and more than a one-third say they would quit a job without another lined up.

who do these plebes think they are, refusing to slave their lives away based upon personal ethics?

That’s not to say that a vegetarian should take a gig at a slaughterhouse, but any mature adult should know to park their personal politics at the office door.

hahaha holy shit. these people really have no principles. they might be evil, but they don't even have the moral fiber to stand up for their own stupid ass beliefs.

The liberal idea that folding on your beliefs is somehow a form of virtue is honestly one of the most pathetic things I've seen in modern society

Liberalism is all about separating your true beliefs from your interactions with others. The separate spheres of liberalism allowed the founding fathers to jerk off about freedom while keeping slaves, talk about freeing themselves while adding territory to their holdings. The central idea of liberalism is that you just sit back and ignore the wickedness of the world so you can enjoy cheap goods.

It's very funny how libs will flip this around, too. they like to talk all day about politics, but the second someone confronts them about their shitty ass beliefs they cry and say "this is too political for a workplace!!" and weasel out of the conversation. One of my bosses is a Tesla driving Biden freak and pulls this shit constantly, it's honestly infuriating.

I love how it's just sputtering "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" but then people just keep doing it. Almost like labor, not management, holds the real power. Boomers are so cucked by their bosses it's insane.

That's a part of the FLSA, so they're not even being generous, they're just doing the bare minimum.
