Hooting and hollering at every line of the article. Endlessly whining that Gen z are doing good things.

Got this article from streetfight radio.

It’s no wonder Gen Z is so willing to pipe up if they don’t get what they want — they’re simply repeating what they were taught on campus.

Yeah real free thinkers just go along with whatever their boss says without hesistation

Also, as far as this is a real phenomenon, I don't think the cause of genz getting more vocal is because of woke campus politics. What probably is a bigger cause is that job training has been given to universities, and universities transformed into an expensive consumer product. Of course when your job training becomes consuming an expensive product, one of the lessons you take away is that you can complain to get what you want. Again, employees trying to take control of the workplace is a very good thing, but it's so funny that one of the things that lead to this is employers pushing the cost of job training onto employees and creating a consumer mindset around both job training and work.

Campuses aren't really super liberal IMO. It's just that religious reactionaries spend 18 years keeping their kids in as airtight a bubble as possible. Those kids then go off to college and notice, for example, that gay people are just normal people and not some scary boogieman.

If you lie to people their whole lives, and then they go to college and find out they've been lied to, they start wondering what else was a lie and suddenly their whole worldview is unravelling like a sweater caught in a wind turbine.

Or: These people experience cognitive dissonance and dont have a coping strategy for it and thus foment a ton of ever worsening viewpoints that can only be solved by the complete destruction of increasingly larger others. Fascism.

I know you meant this differently but campuses are incredibly liberal. Liberal values are what academia in the west is built on. It's a big part of why leftists (Graeber, Finklestein, Parenti(?) etc. etc.) are shut out of the institution.

Of course it also means that the only intersectional ideas allowed there are the coopted, idealistic liberal kind.
