The left successfully argued that feminism was the real men's rights to some people by explaining in detail what toxic masculinity is and how it harms men to live up to it. MRA circles opposing that explanation lost a lot of people to us. Shitredditsays and /r/menslib were extremely successful opposition unlike gamergate and later issues.
Almost everyone that was into SRS back in the day has become a marxist now.
/r/menslib is fantastic, and it's been an amazing effort by the mods to make it good and keep it good.
