There's something about Syrians who now live outside of Syria that makes them so fucking insufferable. The same could probably said about most war-torn countries.
I checked his profile, there are some real gems in there. A fascinating type of guy.
Gusano complex. The desire to shed one’s past/colored skin just so to prove one’s fealty to the empire is intense. It’s basically like you have to stomp hard on where you come from in order to lift yourself up into the westoid world order.

I think there was this millennial Vietnamese American who wrote a piece lamenting how the southern Vietnamese flag which they have always been associating with love, kindness, hope, resilience, democracy, freedom, [add litany of lib values] has been desecrated by the Trumpists.
LOL and oy.
has been desecrated by the Trumpists.
:nixon-laughing:
i have no idea how these people just invoke the curse of the lion of damascus so casually
i don't fear god, but i fear "who must go?"
my heart goes out to those poor moderate jihadists who were victims of russian aggression and assad killing his own people

Idk, lot of Syrians live in my area and there's definitely a divide among them over supporting the Assad government. Not sure what the exact break down is, but pro-government seems bigger.
Assad bombed so many historic buildings. In fact, Assad is why the tower of Pisa is leaning.
a lot of Syrians left Syria and who can blame them the country was a warzone.
and who can blame them the country was a warzone.
Uhh, I remember some chuds telling Syrians to stay home and fight instead of seeking refuge. Does that count?
A lot of them did, and then they won, and now those same chuds are angry that Syria's government didn't fall.
I guess they can blame them but shouldn't. Also Chuds are pretty dumb and the two sides were Assad and ISIS and people were running away from both
I mean this person is on twitter, writing in standard English. There are so many barriers: legal status, money, education and time for most refugees to doing this that you are basically only going to hear from thr members of the ruling classes or at the very least petit borgouisie if you are on twitter.
